Sanjin Sadovich

Physiotherapist

Sanjin Sadovich, has extensive experience treating sports injuries and orthopedic patients. He is a member of the sports and orthopedic divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and continues to take courses in manual therapy, sports injuries and movement systems. Sanjin is currently completing his Doctorate in Physiotherapy. Coquitlam and Port Moody patients depend on him for relief!

Sanjin has experience with the following clinics and hospitals: BC Children’s Hospital Ortho In-Patient Unit, Surrey Memorial Hospital Ortho-In Patient Unit, Island Hand Therapy Private Practice (Victoria, BC), Fraser Valley Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Private Practice, Eagle Ridge Hospital Sub-Acute Unit and Neuromotion Physiotherapy Private Practice.

Sanjin is certified as an Astym® practitioner. Education

Sanjin initially attended Louisiana State University on a tennis scholarship and completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of California in Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.

Knowledge of Sports Injuries

A professional tennis player for 4 years and a member of the Canadian National Davis Cup team, Sanjin has a personal understanding of sports injuries. He played in the Canadian Masters Series twice and practiced with Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and other premier players. In 2007, Sanjin was head coach of the North Shore Winter Club junior programs and served as a trainer for the Richmond Junior B Men’s Lacrosse Team. In 2012, he was the head physiotherapist for the International Tennis Federation junior and wheelchair events at Stanley Park. Sanjin’s current interests include playing basketball, weight lifting, track running and other outdoor activities.
