I believe that the power to heal lies within each person’s unique story, and counseling provides a crucial pathway for unlocking that strength. Embracing a person-centered approach, I integrate techniques from various modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative therapy. To enhance the healing journey, I also incorporate mindfulness and yoga-based practices into my sessions, offering clients an additional avenue for exploration. With experience spanning both adult and youth populations, my focus centers on issues like anxiety, eating disorders, learning challenges, and life transitions.
For the past seven years, I’ve been an advocate for students and families within the public school system. I’ve provided vital support to students with diverse needs, encompassing learning and behavioral challenges. My perspective on wellness is all-encompassing, recognizing its multi-dimensional nature—physical, mental, spiritual, social, and emotional. Through counseling, I address each of these domains, often finding their interconnectedness. Beyond my professional life, I thrive in an active lifestyle, finding solace outdoors, in gyms, pools, or yoga studios. Whenever an opportunity arises, I indulge my passion for travel, seeking new experiences and perspectives.
