John Perone
John completed his Master degree in physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2008. He has been a registered massage therapist in Vancouver since 2000 and obtained a kinesiology degree in 2004.
Since the beginning, John successfully integrated both RMT and kinesiology services to ICBC, WorkSafeBC and MSP clients including active rehabilitation (AR) services.
John has completed training in the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and is also certified in IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation / Dry Needling). In addition to a variety of osteopathic workshops, John has completed Anatomy in Motion movement analysis and correction and is keen on providing patients with not just short term pain relief, but long term solutions. This will be a focal point in all treatments.
John brings his diverse clinical background and training to each and every patient. He loves working with both active and rehab populations.
John is a proud father of four children, one girl and three boys, and in his spare time when he is not chasing them around, he is an active soccer analyst (in his own mind!), fan and player.
