Registered Massage Therapy in Port Coquitlam & Port Moody
Everyone loves a massage, right? There is the physical relief in having those knots of tension rubbed until they release that persistent ache you've been feeling. Actually, our registered massage therapy helps Port Coquitlam and Port Moody patients achieve better health, as well as just feeling good. By loosening muscle tension, our registered massage therapists (RMTs) can help your joints work more fluidly, decrease compression on nerves, and improve your range of motion.
Do you need more reasons to book an appointment for massage therapy? Port Coquitlam and Port Moody patients have also found that after visiting an RMT:
- Stress levels are lower. Long-term stress can do damage to your body, so relieving stress is a formidable step toward staying healthy.
- Sleep is improved. If you suffer from insomnia, lower back pain or fibromyalgia, regular massages can help you sleep.
- Anxiety and depression are relieved. We can all use less anxiety in our daily lives, right?
- Pain is relieved. Especially when pain comes from illness or surgery, your body needs to heal. Massage therapy accelerates healing and helps you manage pain. Patients have found relief from the pain of carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, back pain and more.

We do have pregnancy pillows to help the expecting mother get comfortable for all her treatments, even later on in her pregnancy.
A visit with one of our RMT's will include taking a history, performing evaluations if needed and a treatment. We often give remedial exercises after your treatments to help with your recovery. All of our RMT's have graduated from accredited schools so our treatment styles may be different from one another but the focus on the treatment remains unified. On your first visit more time may be used for your history, but this will decrease as your RMT gets to know what your body needs. We offer 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 and 120 minute treatments. All of our treatments are eligible for reimbursement under your Extended Health Care Plan with your employer. All of our practitioners' biographies are below. - They have studied anatomy, pathology, neurology, physiology, ethics and other related fields, and
- They must maintain their registration through continuing education.
